Southwest Crew Dance Like Nobody’s Watching

If you never thought to yourself “Why do people dance?” before, this video will change your mind.

The “view from the wing” is a documentary about Southwest Airlines and their crew. It follows the crew members as they prepare for a flight, and it shows what happens during the flight. It also tells how they live their lives outside of work.

News and tidbits from the internet:

  • Marriott has agreed to resolve a lawsuit brought by Pennsylvania, pledging to display all-in pricing “on the first page of its booking website as part of the total room tariff” within nine months.

It’s barely worth a smidgeon since it’s unclear what, if anything, will change. On the Marriott.com hotel search display, there is already a check button to toggle all-in price. Is it only that the untoggled option has been removed? Is it toggled by default?

Consumers comparing hotels across chains (which can only be done outside of Marriott.com) will still see room prices for Marriott and other properties that are artificially lower than what they’ll be paying (and what’s shown on the final checkout page).

  • Tampons are stolen from airline restrooms by this lady. What? @katkamalani Change your travel habits!!! #hack #traveltiktok #dayinmylife #tipsandtricks Kevin MacLeod – Sneaky Snitch
  • Re-nationalized in part Air Canada claims it does not need any further government assistance.
  • Dance as if no one is looking, and love as if you’ve never been wounded before.

  • People remove the incorrect stuff from baggage claim (I recall when New York airports checked baggage claim tickets years ago), but what about shipping the wrong sort of pet as cargo?

To be clear, AA Cargo gave me another puppy initially. Then we had to wait for’my kitty’ to be returned. They presented us with a cat that was not ours. Puka (our cat) had been surrendered to a stranger who was transporting her to California. (They were located in Oregon and were contacted.)

  • Miss Oregon selects United, despite the fact that it has nothing to do with anything.

She flies on her own two wings… I’m heading to Tulsa!
