Carnival Cruise Line will be offering Halloween-themed cruises through October. The company is also planning to offer a new, spooky cruise for the Christmas season.

Halloween is rapidly coming, and the Carnival Cruise Line fleet must ensure that passengers enjoy a scary experience. As a result, the cruise company has announced Halloween departure dates as well as unique events taking place aboard throughout October.
Halloween Activities at the Carnival
Carnival cruise ships will celebrate Halloween aboard in October with a variety of “Frightfully Fun” enhanced activities. Guests will be able to participate in costume competitions, trick-or-treating, and other existing popular activities that will be transformed into Halloween variants. The following is a list of events that will take place:
- Patch’s Deck Party for Halloween
- Contest for Costumes
- Carnival Seaside Theater’s Dive-In Movie Specials
- Patch’s Pumpkin Hunt for Halloween
- Trivia with a Halloween theme
- Patch’s Halloween Bingo
- Dance lesson with a spooky twist
- Try to figure out what songs are on that dreadful playlist.
- Competition for pumpkin carving
- Photo opportunity for Halloween
- Family Trick or Treat, a children’s costume contest, and a teen Halloween party are among the activities available to children.
Patch the pumpkin pirate will be back in 2019 to keep an eye on everything going on in the ship’s atrium. Patch was unable to travel in 2020 owing to the cessation of activities.
Patch the Pumpkin Pirate was sailing across the sea when he strayed off course and got trapped, according to the cruise line’s website. Patch was picked up by a Carnival ship that was passing by. He’s 12 feet tall and loves Halloween, by the way! Patch has a ton of Halloween activities and fun planned for you while on your cruise.”
On certain ships with a big screen on the lido deck, the Dive-In movie special will be offered.
Halloween Sailings during the Carnival
The experience will be available on 13 Carnival cruise ships, including the extra ships that will resume operations in October, such as the Carnival Freedom from Miami and the Carnival Elation from Port Canaveral. For the first time, Carnival’s new flagship, Mardi Gras, will offer Halloween promotions beginning October 2.

- Carnival Breeze runs from October 2nd through October 30th.
- Carnival Dream runs from October 3rd through October 31st.
- Carnival Elation runs from October 11th until October 30th.
- Carnival Freedom runs from October 21 to October 31.
- Carnival Glory runs from October 3rd to October 31st.
- Carnival Horizon runs from October 2nd through October 30th, 21.
- Carnival Magic runs from October 2nd through October 31st.
- Carnival Miracle runs from October 1st through October 29th.
- Carnival Panorama runs from October 2nd until October 30th.
- Carnival Pride runs from October 3rd to October 31st.
- Carnival Sunrise runs from October 4th until October 28th.
- Carnival Vista is open from October 2nd through October 30th.
- From October 2nd to October 30th, the city of New Orleans celebrates Mardi Gras.
