In Dubai, the Carnival Corporation has established a brand-new cruise terminal. The firm has constructed the Dubai Harbour Cruise Terminal as the major center for cruise tourism in the United Arab Emirates city in collaboration with Shamal Holding.
The arrival of two passenger cruise ships — Costa Cruises’ Costa Firenze and AIDA Cruises’ AIDAbella — marked the terminal’s formal launch.

The launch is a significant step toward Dubai’s objective of being the most visited city on the planet. The Dubai Harbour Cruise Terminal, the region’s first specialized twin-terminal cruise port, can accommodate two major cruise ships at the same time.
The complex is over 1.3 million square feet and has two terminal buildings with four Seaport Passenger Boarding Bridges that can accommodate the complete turnaround of the world’s biggest cruise ships at the same time.
Large lounging spaces, bathrooms, currency exchange outlets, ATMs, cafés, retail stores, dedicated parking, taxi stands, and other facilities are available to passengers and staff at the terminals. There is also free WiFi available.

Carnival Corporation’s Costa Cruises and AIDA Cruises brands, which initially started operating from Dubai in 2006, have been popular destinations.
AIDAbella landed in Dubai at the Dubai Harbour Cruise Terminal for the first time in late November, marking the start of the ship’s winter season and the first regular cruise passenger operation for the new terminals.
The arrival of the Costa Firenze in Dubai on December 16 marked the beginning of the ship’s season from the city, where it will be homeported until March 2022.
By 2023, six Carnival Corporation brands will visit the Dubai Harbour Cruise Terminal: AIDA, Costa, Cunard, P&O, Princess, and Seabourn. Within that time frame, the six lines are anticipated to make 90 calls in total.
