Antigua and Barbuda officials are easing entry protocols to the country in an effort to encourage tourism. This decision comes on the heels of a travel advisory warning tourists about potential rioting, violence, and even kidnapping near popular resorts over high levels of crime.
The “antigua to barbuda” is a country that has recently eased entry protocols for tourists. The new policies allow visitors to enter the country without a visa.
Antigua and Barbuda, which had record tourist arrivals this summer, will now operate under COVID-19 entrance rules that are less stringent, according to officials with the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority.
For entrance into Antigua and Barbuda, fully vaccinated tourists must submit a negative RT PCR test result obtained within four days of arrival or a negative result from an authorized fast antigen test result taken within three days of arrival, according to authorities.

As the winter vacation season approaches, Antigua and Barbuda continues to enhance access to the destination. Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Equinox arrived in St. John’s Harbour in August, resuming operations at the Antigua Cruise Port. The port’s general manager, Dona Regis-Prosper, remarked, “The disembarkation of passengers was carefully handled to prevent the chance of COVID-19 spreading.”
“We continue to maintain and improve our COVID-19 risk mitigation measures on a daily basis to guarantee that every passenger on every journey is as safe as possible,” Regis-Prosper said.
